    Holders of diplomatic and official passports:

    ALBANIA,IRAN,CHINA,PAKISTAN,BAHRAIN,EGYPT,JORDAN,OMAN,SAUDI ARABIA, TUNISIA,UKRAINE,UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

    Holders of diplomatic passports:

    SINGAPORE

    Holders of business-civil passports:

    CHINA

     

    From September 12, 2002 citizens of countries that signed Schengen Agreement and citizens of the European Union can use their Identity Cards as a traveling document to enter, exit and pass over BiH.

    * UNMIK passport holders are required visa.

    Citizens of all other countries are required entry visa when entering Bosnia and Herzegovina.

     

    REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING VISA

    Listed below are documents required when applying for a visa to Bosnia and
    Herzegovina

    1. Valid passport of applicant
    2. Application form (completed and signed)
    3. Copy of valid US visa or Alien Registration card
    4. Copy of round trip ticket or itinerary
    5. One passport size pictures

    In addition to the above, following items must be presented:

    a) If traveling as a tourist:

       1. Voucher of travel agency stating that trip has been paid in full
       2. Copy of your last bank statement

    b) If visiting friends and/or relatives:
       1. Letter of invitation from person(s) the applicant intends to visit, certified by the        Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Department for Foreign Citizens.

    c) If traveling on business:
       1. Letter from employer stating the purpose of the trip to Bosnia and        Herzegovina
       2. Letter of invitation from a company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, certified by the        Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Department for Foreign Citizens        and competent chamber of commerce by business residence of the guarantee        provider.

    In addition to the above, a personal appearance at the Embassy is necessary.
    Without an individual's appearance the Embassy can not issue a visa. You may contact a consular officer at 202-337-1500 ext. 232 or by E-mail at consularaffairs@bhembassy.org to schedule your interview.

    Their is a Visa Fee depending on the type of visa.

    Payments must be made in money order/ cashier's check (if applying by mail) payable to the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Personal checks cannot be accepted.

    Please include a self-addressed pre-paid return envelope. Must be trackable mail, otherwise add additional 20 USD for mailing costs.
